Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role located in New Delhi, for an Academic Counsellor. The Academic Counsellor will be responsible for guiding students and working professionals in selecting appropriate academic and career pathways, providing personalized counseling sessions, and offering expert advice on educational and professional certifications. By effectively communicating program details and addressing student inquiries, they will ensure a positive and informed decision-making process.
The role also includes collaborating with the academic team, monitoring student progress, and providing continuous support for educational success.
Qualifications
Strong skills in Student Counseling and Career Counseling, with the ability to guide and motivate individuals towards achieving their academic and professional goals
Proficiency in Academic Advising and Education, with a thorough understanding of available certifications and programs
Excellent Communication skills, both written and verbal, to foster effective interactions with students, parents, and team members
Organizational and interpersonal abilities, with a proactive and empathetic approach to student support
Prior experience in academic or career counseling is preferred
Bachelor's degree in Education, Psychology, or a related field; advanced degrees or certifications in counseling are an added advantage
