Summary:

We’re   Wellness Coach,   a B2B wellness platform. We’re hiring a dedicated   Clinical Program Specialist   to design and optimize evidence-based health programs focused on Type 2 Diabetes, hypertension, and weight management.

Description:

As Clinical Program Specialist, you will help design and manage evidence-based health and lifestyle programs. You will ensure each program is clinically sound, engaging, and aligned with the company’s mission to improve health outcomes through lifestyle change. You will collaborate closely with coaches, nutritionists, and product teams to translate medical guidelines into accessible, results-driven programs.
This role reports to the Director of Coaching and Clinical. Ideal candidates have a strong clinical or public health background, experience with US healthcare standards, and a passion for helping people lead healthier lives.

Responsibilities (clinical program-focused):
Program Development (Primary – Clinical Disease Management):
Design evidence-based wellness and lifestyle programs across   Type 2 Diabetes, hypertension, and weight management  .
Translate clinical guidelines into accessible, outcome-driven modules and user journeys.
Collaborate with nutrition, fitness, and behavioral science experts to ensure medical accuracy and engagement.
Define measurable outcomes and success metrics (e.g., HbA1c, BP range, BMI trend, adherence rates).
Build structured, phased programs integrating education, tracking, and coaching touchpoints.

Content & Research:
Source and validate credible clinical evidence from journals, WHO/ADA/AHA guidelines, and public health resources.
Ensure all content reflects up-to-date, region-appropriate medical standards and language.
Review and maintain consistency in tone, accuracy, and clinical relevance across programs.

Quality & Compliance:
Maintain clinical accuracy and safety in all materials and workflows.
Ensure adherence to HIPAA regulations and SOC2 compliance standards regarding PHI (Protected Health Information).
Support coach training on clinical topics and client scenarios.

Cross-Functional Collaboration:

Work closely with Product, Coaching, and Marketing to translate clinical designs into user-facing experiences.
Provide medical insight during feature development, ensuring evidence-based logic and outcome validation.
Participate in program pilot evaluations, data reviews, and iteration cycles.

Program Evaluation:
Define key metrics (adherence, completion, satisfaction, outcomes).
Conduct ongoing program audits and recommend improvements for engagement and efficacy.
Leverage analytics to inform design adjustments and behavior change success factors.

Working Hours:

Based in India, 4-5 hours overlap with US (PT time zone). Typically, 5PM - 2AM IST, Mon-Fri.
Participate in sprint reviews, clinical validation calls, and cross-team standups.

Minimum Qualifications:

Education:

Bachelor's and Master's in Nutrition, Dietetics, Public Health, or Clinical Sciences, Diabetes Education;
Doctor/Nurse needed
Preferred: CDCES (Certified Diabetes Care and Education Specialist).

Experience:

4-5 years designing or managing structured health programs in wellness, digital health, or healthcare.
Prior experience working with US healthcare standards or US-based digital health companies (to bridge the gap between Indian clinical education and US compliance needs).
Knowledge of HIPAA regulations and data privacy laws.
Ability to translate medical science into engaging action-oriented client programs.
Excellent written communication and attention to clinical detail.
Strong collaboration skills in cross-functional, remote teams.
