About Us

Forta is clearing the path to quality healthcare. We continuously improve the patient journey and deliver personalized care by applying AI and machine learning.

Our first care vertical is autism ABA therapy. Access is limited, delivery is fragmented, and families are left waiting. We are reinventing this model to provide early, high-quality access. With 1 in 36 children [CDC, 2023] diagnosed with autism, the need has never been greater. We are seeking detail-oriented, organized, and mission-driven individuals to support the operations of our payor relations and contracting team.

About This Role

We are seeking a contracting and credentialing leader who will provide administrative and operational oversight of meeting agendas, notes, action items, follow-ups, and deadlines. Manages day-to-day operations, including database integrity and internal tracking tools. Serves as the first point of intake and triage for incoming administrative requests. Ensures ongoing quality control, accuracy, and process discipline, and acts as the primary escalation point for issue identification and resolution.

The ideal candidate has extensive experience in provider credentialing and group contracting and is a strong problem solver.

Key Responsibilities

Problem Solving:

- Act as the primary escalation point for complex contracting, credentialing, and licensing issues.
- Proactively identify bottlenecks or delays in provider contracting, credentialing, and licensing.
- Build strong working relationships with payors and internal teams to drive timely resolution of issues.

Operations:

- Manage end-to-end provider contracting processes, including submissions, amendments, and renewals.
- Ensure compliance with payer and state requirements.
- Maintain accurate records of all contracts, credentialing documentation, and provider communications.

Data Management and Reporting:

- Serve as the team’s expert in maintaining high-quality, accurate provider data in Retool or other internal systems.
- Audit and validate data regularly to ensure data hygiene and integrity.
- Develop and maintain dashboards, reports, and KPIs to track team performance and operational metrics.
- Identify trends and provide insights to leadership for process improvement and strategic planning.

Team Leadership and process improvement:

- Lead, coach, and support high-performing team members and hold teams accountable.
- Develop and enforce standard operating procedures (SOPs) to ensure consistent, efficient workflows.
- Continuously identify opportunities to streamline processes and improve operational efficiency.
- Support cross-functional initiatives, including new market launches and expansion efforts.

Qualifications

- Bachelor’s degree in Healthcare Administration, Business, or related field preferred (or equivalent experience).
- 3–5 years of managerial experience in healthcare administration, contracting support, credentialing, or payor relations.
- Strong organizational and scheduling skills; able to manage multiple deadlines with precision.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint); experience with CRM, Smartsheet, or contract management software is a plus.
- Comfortable working independently in a remote, structured, process-driven environment.
- Detail-oriented, reliable, and committed to accuracy.
