About the Role We are looking for a Pediatric Nutrition Consultant to guide families of infants and young children (0–5 years) with science-backed, practical, and culturally sensitive nutrition support . This role sits at the intersection of clinical knowledge, parent education, and real-world feasibility .
You will help shape nutrition guidance across breastfeeding, complementary feeding, toddler nutrition, picky eating, growth concerns, and micronutrient adequacy—while ensuring alignment with global pediatric standards and developmental principles.
Key Responsibilities
1. Parent-Facing Guidance Provide clear, evidence-based nutrition recommendations for:
Breastfeeding and formula feeding
Introduction of solids (6–12 months)
Toddler nutrition (1–5 years)
Picky eating, food refusal, appetite variability
Growth faltering, undernutrition, and common nutrient gaps
Support parents through consultations, Q&A sessions, or async reviews (depending on engagement model)
2. Content & Program Development Co-create:
Nutrition modules, guides, and checklists for parents
Age-wise feeding frameworks (what, how much, how, and why)
Red-flag indicators for referral to pediatricians or specialists
Ensure content is:
Scientifically accurate
Simple, reassuring, and non-judgmental
Practical for working parents and diverse household setups
3. Standards, Safety & Accuracy Ensure alignment with:
WHO / UNICEF / IAP / AAP-style guidelines (as relevant)
Growth monitoring best practices (weight, height, head circumference interpretation)
Review and validate nutrition claims, FAQs, and app/tool outputs
Clearly define boundaries between nutrition guidance and medical advice
4. Collaboration Work closely with:
Pediatricians / developmental experts
Early-childhood educators
Product and content teams
Help design decision trees and parent-safe defaults for nutrition-related queries
Required Qualifications Master’s degree in Nutrition / Dietetics / Clinical Nutrition
Specialized training or demonstrated experience in pediatric or maternal-child nutrition
3+ years of hands-on experience with infants and young children (0–5 years)
Strong grounding in:
Infant feeding physiology
Complementary feeding
Growth and nutrient requirements
Comfortable translating science into parent-friendly language
Preferred (Nice to Have) Experience working with:
Startups, digital health, or parenting platforms
Large-scale parent education programs
Familiarity with:
Indian and/or global dietary patterns
Evidence-based responsive feeding approaches
Experience creating written, video, or structured educational content
