Job Description:
Priority Hearing Care is currently seeking a skilled and compassionate Audiologist to join our team in the Delhi National Capital Region (NCR). As an Audiologist, you will be responsible for diagnosing and treating patients with hearing and balance disorders, providing personalized care in a hospital setting.
Responsibilities:
● Conduct comprehensive audiological evaluations, including pure-tone audiometry, speech audiometry, immittance testing, otoacoustic emissions (OAE), and auditory brainstem response (A ) testing.
● Assess and diagnose hearing and balance disorders, including hearing loss, tinnitus, and vertigo.
● Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to develop individualized treatment plans for patients.
● Recommend and dispense hearing aids and assistive listening devices, ensuring proper fitting and adjustment.
● Provide counseling and education to patients and their families on hearing conservation, communication strategies, and hearing aid usage.
● Perform minor repairs and maintenance on hearing aids, and coordinate with manufacturers for more extensive repairs.
● Stay up-to-date with advancements in audiology and hearing aid technology through continuing education and professional development activities.
● Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records, including test results, treatment plans, and progress notes.
● Ensure compliance with relevant regulatory guidelines and ethical standards in audiology practice.
● Collaborate with the administrative team to schedule appointments, manage patient flow, and maintain a clean and organized work environment
Qualifications:
● Master's or Doctorate degree in Audiology from an accredited institution.
● Valid license to practice audiology in Delhi NCR.
● Proven experience as an Audiologist in a hospital or clinical setting is preferred.
● Strong knowledge of audiological assessment techniques, including specialized testing
equipment.
● Familiarity with hearing aid selection, fitting, and programming.
● Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to empathize with patients
and establish rapport.
● Detail-oriented with strong organizational and time management abilities.
● Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.
● Proficiency in using audiological software and electronic medical records systems.
● Commitment to ongoing professional development and staying updated with advancements in audiology.
