Job Responsibilities:

- The safety officer is responsible for ensuring that all safety regulations and policiesarefollowed within the factory.
This role involves developing, implementing and maintaining health and safety standards, conducting regular safety inspections,and providing training to employees.
The safety officer will work to minimize risks and ensure a safe working environment for all employees.

Key Responsibilities Area:
Safety Policies and Procedure
Develop, implement and update safety policies and procedures to ensure compliance with local, state and federal regulations.
Monitor adherence to these policies and procedures across the factory.
Risk Assessment and Management
Conduct regular risk assessment and hazard analysis to identify potential safety issues.
Develop and implement corrective actions to mitigate identifies risks.
Safety Training and Education
Organize and conduct safety training session for employees to promote awareness and adherence to safety standards.
Ensure employees are informed about emergency procedures, equipment handling and other relevant safety practices
Incident Investigation
Investigate accidents, incidents and near miss to determine root causes and develop preventive measures.
Maintain detailed records of incidents and report finding to management
Safety Inspection and Audits
Conduct regular safety inspections and audits of the factory premises, equipment and practices.
Ensure compliance with safety regulations and identify areas for improvement
Emergency Preparedness
Develop and maintain emergency response plans and procedures
Coordinate regular emergency drills and ensure all employees are trained in emergency response.
Regulatory Compliance
Stay updated with the latest safety regulations and standards.
Ensure the factory complies with all relevant safety laws and regulations
Safety Equipment Management
Ensure the availability and proper functioning of safety equipment's and personal protective equipment's.
Monitor and maintain an inventory of safety equipment and supplies.
Reporting:
Prepare and present regular safety reports to the plant manager / Operation manager
Maintain accurate and up to date safety record and documentation.
Desired Candidates :

- Qualification and Experience
Candidate should possess bachelor's degree in Occupational Health and Safety or Diploma in Industrial Health and Safety,PDIS,

B.Sc. or Engineering in Industrial Safety
Candidate should possess 7 to 8 years of experience in same industry
Strong knowledge of GPCB & OSHA regulations and other relevant safety standards
Excellent communication skills
