Principal Consultant

Must Haves

• 10–12+ years as an automation engineer with experience re‑engineering business processes and automating manual workflows

• Comfortable leading discovery sessions with business partners, especially within Compliance

• Hands‑on experience with cloud migrations and improving efficiency through modernization (Azure preferred, including AKS, Functions, Blob Storage, and AI Foundry)

• Familiarity with CI/CD principles and engineering best practices (including experience with workflow orchestration or CI/CD tooling)

• Exposure to AI technologies and practical use cases for compliance, controls, or risk

• Prior experience supporting Internal Audit, GRC, SOX, Risk, or Compliance teams with automation—helping translate compliance needs into technical solutions

• Strong proficiency with Python (primary), along with experience using SQL and JavaScript/Type Script

• Experience with modern frameworks and platforms such as FastAPI, Spring Boot (legacy Java familiarity a plus), and React

• Hands-on experience with data and messaging technologies such as Kafka, Postgre

Plusses

• Background implementing AI‑enabled automations or intelligent workflows

• Experience with CI/CD tooling, workflow orchestration, or Dev Ops practices

• Experience with in a Cloud‑First, Automation‑First enterprise transformation

• Prior involvement conducting large‑scale discovery assessments

Summary:

A large Pharmaceutical company is seeking a seasoned automation engineer who can operate in an immature, fast‑evolving environment where processes are not yet defined and the pipeline is still being built. This role is responsible for automating compliance‑related business functions by leading deep discovery work, reengineering manual workflows, and applying the right technologies—whether CI/CD, AI, or cloud modernization—to drive value without increasing operational cost.

The ideal candidate is a self‑starter with 10–12+ years of experience across complex business and technology landscapes, someone who thinks ahead, has experience migrating to cloud environments, and can identify opportunities to improve velocity, streamline compliance operations, and elevate the organization’s overall efficiency.

Languages:
