About the Role
We're looking for a Product Designer to own design end-to-end for Astra. You'll be the first in-house designer, transitioning from agency support to building a robust internal design function. This is a high-ownership role where you'll shape the product experience from research through to polished interfaces.

What You'll Do
Own the full design lifecycle: user research, information architecture, wireframes, prototypes, and production-ready designs
Build and maintain a scalable design system for Astra
Collaborate closely with product and engineering to define requirements and translate them into intuitive workflows
Conduct user research and usability testing to validate design decisions
Create interactive prototypes to communicate and test ideas quickly
Work with frontend engineers to ensure design fidelity in implementation

What We're Looking For
5+ years of experience as a Product Designer
Strong portfolio demonstrating end-to-end design process, not just visual polish

Experience with B2B or enterprise SaaS products—you understand complex workflows and data-dense interfaces
Proficiency in Figma

Experience with prototyping tools and conducting user research
Comfortable being the sole designer and making independent judgment calls
Excellent communication skills—you can articulate design rationale to non-designers

Nice to Have

Experience with procurement, finance, or operations software
Experience establishing design systems from scratch
Background working in early-stage or high-growth product teams
