Job Description:
As a Sr. QA automation engineer, you will own the creation and maintenance of our automated E2E test suite, working closely with both our testers and engineers. Besides automating tests, you will also run manual tests and contribute to various projects.
We’re seeking an experienced Automation Test Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in UI automation using Playwright with Type Script, and a solid grasp of modern testing frameworks and practices, including ES6. Strong English communication skills are a must.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Creating, expanding, and maintaining our automated E2E and API test suites for different projects (using Playwright with Type Script).
- Collaborating with testers and developers to achieve the above.
- Supporting the QA team in executing manual tests.
- Reporting test results and defects to the product, QA, and engineering teams.
- Creating and updating manual test cases.
- Preparing features with product owners and developers.
- Working with CI/CD tools (e.g., Git Hub Actions, Jenkins, etc.) to integrate automated tests into deployment pipelines.
What You’ll Bring
- Fluent professional communication in English.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in test automation.
- At least 2 years of hands-on experience with Playwright (UI & API automation).
- Experience in automated E2E testing.
- Experience in automated API testing.
- Experience in maintaining large manual test suites.
- Experience in testing in an Agile setting.
- Proactive in communication with product owners, testers, and developers when preparing for new features and testing.
- The ability to assess the business impact of defects.
- Strong knowledge of JavaScript ES6 and Type Script.
It Would Be Good If You Had
Relevant understanding of clinical guidelines: ICH-GCP - Good Clinical Practice, FDA 21 CFR Part 11, and relevant GXP Regulations and Guidances.
