SAP Platform Developer

About the Role
Join Malvern Panalytical as an SAP Platform Developer and play a key role in shaping and strengthening our SAP landscape. In this role, you will support and develop solutions across SAP S/4
HANA and SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP), enabling strategic initiatives and driving continuous improvement across the organization.
Working in an Agile environment, you will collaborate with cross-functional and global teams to translate user stories and business requirements into high-quality, scalable SAP solutions.

What You Will Bring to the Role
- Design, develop, and implement SAP solutions aligned with Clean Core methodology and business requirements
- Collaborate with business analysts, functional consultants, and key stakeholders to translate business needs into technical specifications
- Perform system development, functional testing, and debugging to ensure high-quality and high-performing solutions
- Develop custom reports, interfaces, and enhancements using ABAP to support business processes
- Provide technical support and troubleshooting to ensure system stability and timely issue resolution
- Participate in system upgrades, migrations, and integration projects, ensuring smooth transitions and continuous enhancement
About You
- Strong SAP ABAP development experience within an S/4
HANA environment, including CDS, OData, BRF+ and classical ABAP
- Strong Clean Core mindset with the ability to leverage modern SAP technologies for sustainable development
- Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills across multiple solution areas
- Ability to identify root causes and drive effective, long-term solutions
- Development experience relevant to a manufacturing environment
- Proven ability to work closely with functional consultants to deliver robust functional and technical specifications
- Experience supporting and mentoring junior and offshore team members
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
