About the Role

We are seeking a Senior SAP PP Consultant with proven expertise in Production Planning and Manufacturing processes. The ideal candidate will lead SAP PP design, configuration, testing, and deployment activities for complex projects, working collaboratively with cross-functional teams. This role requires deep domain knowledge, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to operate autonomously in a remote setup.

Key Responsibilities

- Lead SAP PP configuration across modules including Master Data (BOM, Routing), Work Centers, PRT, Production Orders, MRP, Demand Management, and Capacity Planning.
- Translate business requirements into functional designs and deliver scalable SAP PP solutions.
- Drive end-to-end implementation activities: requirement gathering, blueprinting, configuration, unit/system integration testing, UAT support, and go-live support.
- Collaborate with SAP MM, SD, QM, and PM teams to integrate production planning with procurement, quality, sales, and maintenance processes.
- Optimize and enhance existing PP processes to improve throughput, planning accuracy, and manufacturing efficiency.
- Provide support & troubleshooting for SAP PP issues; propose and implement corrective actions.
- Prepare functional documentation, training materials, and conduct knowledge transfer sessions for end users and support teams.
- Ensure adherence to governance standards, best practices, and change control processes.

Required Qualifications

- 8+ years of hands-on experience in SAP PP consulting across full lifecycle implementations.
- Strong expertise in Production Planning & Control, MRP, Shop Floor Integration, and Manufacturing Execution Processes.

- Experience with SAP S/4

HANA PP preferred.
- Deep understanding of manufacturing processes (discrete, process, repetitive).
- Ability to configure MRP types, strategies, lot sizing, scheduling parameters, planning horizons, and capacity leveling.
- Skill in preparing functional specifications and working with ABAP teams for enhancements.
- Excellent analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to work independently in a remote environment while meeting deadlines and SLAs.

Nice-to-Have

- SAP PP certifications (e.g., SAP Certified Application Associate).
- Experience in SAP APO/IBP integration.
- Exposure to Lean Manufacturing and Advanced Planning Scenarios.

- Experience with MES, SOP integration, and real-time data flows.
