We are currently hiring for a Telephony Engineer / Telephony Integration Engineer.

Role: Telephony Engineer / Telephony Integration Engineer

Notice Period: Immediate to 30 days only
Mandatory Requirement (Non-Negotiable):
Strong hands-on experience with Vonage telephony systems
(Vonage Communications APIs / Vonage Business / Vonage Contact Center)
Please note:
Profiles without direct Vonage implementation experience will not be considered.
Your Impact:
Design, develop, configure, and support enterprise-grade telephony and communication solutions using Vonage APIs.
Integrate voice and messaging services (SMS/MMS) into existing business platforms.
Build and manage backend integrations using Java, Python, or C# .
Work extensively with REST APIs, webhooks, and asynchronous event-driven architectures .
Support and troubleshoot L2/L3 production telephony issues in high-availability environments.
Perform system monitoring, upgrades, patches, and regular health checks to ensure platform stability.
Collaborate with vendors and internal engineering teams on solution design, integrations, and issue resolution.
Create and maintain technical documentation , including configurations, workflows, and troubleshooting guides.
Candidate Profile:
5+ years of experience in telephony engineering or unified communications roles.
Strong expertise in Vonage telephony platforms with real-world implementation experience.
Solid understanding of VoIP technologies including SIP, RTP, PBX systems, and call routing.
Proven experience in backend development and API-based system integrations.
Comfortable working in production environments with ownership of uptime and performance.
Strong communication skills and ability to coordinate across technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Nice to Have:
Experience with CRM or third-party integrations using Vonage or Twilio.
Exposure to contact center solutions , call analytics, and reporting.
Knowledge of ITIL processes and incident management.
Relevant VoIP or Unified Communications certifications .
