Role Overview
We are looking for a   Senior Data Architect  with deep   BFSI domain expertise  and   BIAN certifications   . You will be responsible for translating complex banking business functions into scalable data models.

Your role is critical in transforming our data ecosystem into a BIAN-compliant architecture, facilitating seamless interoperability across Core Banking, Payments, and Wealth Management platforms.

Key Responsibilities

· Domain-Driven Design:  Apply deep BFSI knowledge to design data models for Retail/Corporate Banking, Credit Risk, Treasury, and Regulatory Reporting.

· BIAN Alignment:  Map existing banking "Service Domains" and "Business Objects" to the   BIAN Service Landscape  to ensure a standardized industry language.

· Enterprise Data Modeling:  Develop and maintain complex Logical Data Models (LDM) and Physical Data Models (PDM) that support high-volume financial transactions.

· Regulatory Compliance:  Ensure data architectures comply with global and local financial regulations (e.g., BCBS 239, GDPR, RBI guidelines, and AML/KYC standards).

· Data Interoperability:  Architect data flows that support   ISO 20022 messaging and Open Banking API standards.

· Stakeholder Management:  Act as a bridge between Business functional heads (Product Owners) and Technical teams to ensure data models reflect banking reality.

Mandatory Qualifications

·

Experience:

8+ years of core Data Architecture/Modeling experience, with at least 5 + years strictly within the BFSI sector   .

· Certifications (Non-Negotiable):
o   BIAN Foundation Certification or BIAN Data Architecture & Design Specialist Certification.

· Domain Expertise:  Proven understanding of the   Banking Value Chain   , including Account Processing, Payments, Trade Finance, and Credit Lifecycle.

· Technical Stack:  Expert proficiency in modeling tools (Erwin, Hackolade, or ER/Studio) and SQL/No

SQL environments.
Preferred BFSI Competencies

· Experience with   Core Banking Transformations  (e.g., migration from legacy systems to Finacle, Temenos, or Mambu).

· Understanding of   Financial Messaging  (SWIFT, SEPA, UPI).
Knowledge of Data Vault 2.0 or Dimensional Modeling for Financial Data Warehousing.
