Understanding customer requirements, solutions, and project KPIs
Implementing various development, testing, automation tools, and IT infrastructure
Setting up tools and required infrastructure
Defining and setting development, test, release, update, and support processes for Dev Ops operation
Have the technical skill to review, verify, and validate the software code developed in the project.
Troubleshooting techniques and coordinating the fixing bug fixes with developers
Monitoring the processes during the entire lifecycle for its adherence and updating or creating new processes for improvement in a lean manner
Planning and building automated processes where possible
Identifying and deploying cybersecurity measures by continuously performing vulnerability assessment and risk management
Selecting and deploying appropriate CI/CD tools and CI/CD pipelines
Build continuous integration, continuous development, and constant deployment pipelines (CI/CD Pipeline) for various technologies and platforms
Mentoring and guiding the team members on Dev Ops collaboration
Monitoring and measuring customer experience and KPIs
Planning the team structure, activities, and involvement in project management activities.
Coordination and communication within the team and with customers
Managing stakeholders and external interfaces
Managing periodic reporting on the progress to the management and the customer
Highly responsible individual to work with financial domain customers
Maintain and enhance Terraform scripts for DBT Cloud, Git Hub, etc.
Work directly with phData Provision Tool and related infra tooling
Automate environment setup, deployments, and key rotation practices
Collaborate with STL and Senior Engineer to ensure seamless operations
Handle AWS IAM, RSA key management, and 1
Password Vault usage
REQUIRED COMPETENCIES AND SKILLS
Thorough knowledge in Dev Ops practices and concepts
Hands on skills in CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, ArgoCD (Cloud Native CI/CD tools), etc.
Hands-on experience with configuration automation tools such as Ansible
Experience in cloud native tools and technologies including Docker and Kubernetes
Experience in test automation tools and mechanisms such as JMeter, Newman, etc.
Experience with infrastructure automation tools such as Terraform
Experience with application monitoring tools such as Elasticsearch/Kibana, Prometheus, etc.
Knowledge and experience in at least one development language (Java or . NET)
Scripting knowledge in python/shell etc. with experience on Linux/Windows
6+ years of experience in software engineering.
Ability to communicate effectively with different project stakeholders.
Experience with chaos engineering or resilience testing.
Experience in multi-cloud or hybrid environments.
Be able to write clear runbooks and do postmortems.
Exposure to Snowflake, Five Tran, DBT Cloud.
Exposure to other data-intensive or distributed systems (Kafka, Cassandra, etc.).
Contributions to improving SRE practices (e.g., error budgets, blameless postmortems).
Experience with AWS
Experience with containerization & Orchestration:
Docker, Kubernetes, Helm.
Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC):
Terraform, Ansible, Cloud Formation.
Typical SRE responsibilities: programming/scripting, networking basics (DNS, LB/ELB, TCP/IP, VPN/VPC), CI/CD (Git Hub/Gitlab)
