Role Description
This is a full-time, remote role for an Infrastructure Engineer. As an Infrastructure Engineer, you will work on building, maintaining, and optimizing scalable infrastructure to support enterprise-level applications and services. You will ensure reliable system operations, implement networking solutions, oversee security protocols, and troubleshoot technical issues related to infrastructure and systems. Collaboration with cross-functional teams and providing scalable infrastructure solutions will be key components of your work.
Role Responsibilities
- Architect, design, and scale Antryk's core infrastructure across multiple regions and data centers
- Build and maintain distributed systems and services using Node.js, Python, and Go
- Design and operate microservices architectures with focus on scalability, resilience, and fault tolerance
- Develop and manage asynchronous communication systems using Kafka, Rabbit
MQ, or similar event-streaming platforms
- Improve system reliability and performance through observability, load testing, and chaos engineering
- Automate infrastructure provisioning, deployments, and scaling using Infrastructure-as-Code and CI/CD pipelines
- Collaborate with platform, product, and security teams to ensure system stability, performance, and compliance
- Diagnose and resolve complex production issues across all layers of the infrastructure stack
- Optimize efficiency through Linux kernel and container-level performance tuning
- Plan and implement strategies for rapid scaling and high availability
- Maintain operational excellence through documentation and postmortem analysis
- Participate in on-call rotation to maintain platform reliability
