Teradata Developer; Experienced GCP

Position: Teradata Developer (Experienced with GCP)
Key Responsibilities:

- Develop, optimize, and maintain Teradata SQL queries, BTEQ scripts, and data workflows.
- Design and implement ETL processes to manage large-scale data warehouses.
- Utilize Shell scripting to automate repetitive tasks and enhance system performance.
- Develop and maintain Python scripts for data processing and analytics.
- Monitor and troubleshoot performance issues in Teradata databases.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into scalable database solutions.
- Ensure data integrity, quality, and security within the Teradata environment.
- Optimize query performance and resource utilization within Teradata systems.
- Document processes, workflows, and best practices for internal knowledge sharing.
- Stay updated with the latest trends and technologies in Teradata, SQL, and cloud data solutions.

Required Qualifications:

- 4+ years of hands-on experience with Teradata BTEQ and Teradata SQL.
- Proficiency in Shell scripting for automation and system tasks.
- Strong programming skills in Python for data manipulation and automation.
- Experience in designing, developing, and optimizing data warehouse solutions.
- Expertise in query performance tuning and debugging in Teradata.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently or in a team environment.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to interact with stakeholders.

Preferred Qualifications:

- Cloud experience in GCP (Big Query, Dataflow, Cloud Storage, etc.).
