We are looking for an experienced Cybersecurity Specialist to strengthen security across AMI, MDM, DCRC, Billing, and utility IT/OT systems. The role focuses on risk assessment, compliance, governance, and incident response within critical infrastructure environments.
Key Responsibilities
Cybersecurity Risk & Compliance
- Identify vulnerabilities, threat exposures, and compliance gaps aligned with national cybersecurity frameworks and ISO 27001.
- Conduct cybersecurity maturity assessments across AMI, MDM, DCRC, billing systems, and control centre platforms.
- Prepare Cybersecurity and Data Protection Framework Reports.
Security Controls Evaluation
- Evaluate and strengthen authentication, encryption, access control, and network security mechanisms.
- Review system architecture for secure integration between AMI head-end, MDM, billing systems, and Load Management Systems.
- Assess risks related to automated disconnection/reconnection processes.
Governance & Vendor Security
- Define cybersecurity governance structures and roles across IT, operations, and third-party vendors.
- Establish minimum cybersecurity and data protection requirements for vendors and contractors.
- Conduct third-party risk assessments and compliance audits.
Incident Response & Resilience
- Develop and maintain a Cybersecurity Incident Response Plan integrated with Load Management System operations.
- Coordinate incident simulations, table top exercises, and recovery testing.
- Support SOC integration and threat monitoring improvements.
Reporting & Documentation
- Develop policies, procedures, and risk registers.
- Present risk findings and mitigation strategies to management.
- Maintain compliance documentation and audit readiness.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, Information Security, or related field.
- Minimum 7 years of experience
- 5 years in cybersecurity (utility / smart grid / critical infrastructure preferred)
- Strong knowledge of ISO 27001, NIST, IT/OT security
- Experience with AMI / SCADA / MDM environments
- Relevant certifications (CISSP / CISM / ISO 27001) preferred
