About the Position

We are looking for a talented and analytical Product Analyst to join our team, focusing on data curation efforts and competitive intelligence in the healthcare and biomedical research domains. This role involves supporting the curation of publicly available omics datasets, ensuring data quality and consistency, and providing insights into competitive landscape trends. The ideal candidate will possess a strong analytical mindset, familiarity with biomedical data, and an ability to conduct in-depth competitive intelligence research.

Responsibilities:

Data Curation and Quality Control:

- Collaborate with the curation team to harmonize and validate metadata for omics datasets
- Conduct quality control (QC) checks on datasets to ensure data accuracy, completeness, and adherence to established standards
- Develop and refine semi-automated pipelines and processes for metadata curation and annotation
- Work with product, bioinformatics and data science teams to identify and address any data inconsistencies

Competitive Intelligence & Market Analysis:

- Conduct research on industry trends, competitor products, and emerging technologies related to public data, bioinformatics, and data curation
- Analyze and monitor competitors’ data curation approaches, new product releases, and technological advancements in omics data and healthcare
- Prepare reports summarizing findings, market trends, and potential areas for competitive advantage

Qualifications:

- Master’s degree in a related field such as Bioinformatics, Data Science, Biology, or a similar discipline
- Proven experience in data curation, data analysis, or a related role, preferably in the life sciences or healthcare sector is highly desirable
- Familiarity with scRNA-seq datasets and other omics data types is a plus
- Detail-oriented with a strong commitment to data accuracy and quality
- Prior experience in metadata annotation, harmonization, or ontology mapping is a plus
