About the role:
As our SAP Functional Business Analyst, you will analyse global financial legislative updates and assess their impact on SAP customers. Acting as a Subject Matter Expert, you’ll guide SAP technical and QA teams on the business and functional implications of regulatory changes.
You’ll also provide legislative advisory support across other platforms, including Oracle EBS, ensuring consistent and compliant delivery for our global customer base.
What you’ll be doing :
As the SAP Functional Business Analyst, you will:
Analyse global financial legislative updates and determine applicability to customers
Identify business and system updates required to support mandatory legislative changes, with the ability to advise on or complete configuration requirements (Finance modules)
Collaborate with ABAP developers and wider Agile teams on solution design
Create and execute QA test plans for legislative updates
Mentor QA teams across SAP and Oracle EBS Agile Teams
Deliver finance, Tax, Legal, and Regulatory fact-finding workshops for new customers
Support customer projects and cases with finance, functional, and legislative expertise
Communicate directly with customers regarding system updates and documentation.
What we’re looking for:
To be successful in this role, you should have:
10+ years of experience in Finance or in a Finance Business Analyst role, ideally in a medium to large organisation.
Strong functional experience in SAP Finance (FI/CO, SD, and MM)
Solid understanding of financial compliance and legislative changes
Understanding of multi-country accounting standards
Experience working in an Agile environment is beneficial
Strong stakeholder and customer communication skills
Experience collaborating with technical and QA teams
Exposure to Oracle EBS is an advantage.
