Key Responsibilities / Hands on experience :

• Design and implement IBM Info Sphere MDM solutions (both Physical and Virtual MDM models) and BPM/BAW UI.

• Customize and extend MDM functionalities using MDM Workbench, Java, and XML.

• Develop and deploy MDM services, and business rules.

• Implement data stewardship, survivorship rules, match-merge logic, and hierarchy management.

• Integration & Data Management

• Integrate MDM with upstream/downstream systems using SOAP/REST APIs, MQ, or Kafka.

• Collaborate with ETL teams (e.g., IBM Data Stage, Informatica, or Talend) for data synchronization.

• Provide technical guidance and code reviews to junior developers.

• Optimize MDM performance, troubleshoot production issues, and manage upgrades/patches.

• Participate in solution architecture discussions and propose best practices for data quality and scalability.

• Work closely with data architects, business analysts, and QA teams to deliver robust MDM solutions.

• Prepare technical documentation including design documents, test cases, and deployment guides.
