Job Experience Requirements:
· Minimum 8-10 years in SAP Basis administration
· At least 2-3 full lifecycle S/4
HANA implementations (including RISE with SAP projects)
· Hands-on experience with SAP BTP projects:
Implementing extensions, integrations, and analytics
· Cloud migration experience:
Moving SAP workloads to public/private cloud, preferably with RISE with SAP
· Collaboration with cross-functional teams:
Working with developers, functional consultants, and infrastructure teams
· Vendor and stakeholder management:
Coordinating with SAP, cloud providers, and third- party vendors
· Deep understanding of S/4
HANA architecture (on-premise, cloud, hybrid)
· Experience with RISE with SAP:
Familiarity with subscription model, cloud infrastructure (AWS, Azure, GCP), and SAP-managed services
· System installation, upgrade, and migration:
Including conversion from ECC to S/4
HANA, and greenfield/brownfield approaches
· System administration:
User management, client administration, transport management, performance tuning, and monitoring
· Disaster recovery and high availability:
Design and implementation of DR and HA solutions
· Integration:
Experience with SAP PI/PO, SAP Cloud Connector, and other middleware
· Strong communication and documentation skills
· Problem-solving and analytical thinking
· Project management and leadership abilities
· Ability to train and mentor junior team members
· Adaptability to new technologies and methodologies
Job Responsibilities:
·
Technical Planning & Architecture
• Validate target architecture for SAP S/4
HANA (Rise with SAP)
• Assess sizing, scalability, and high availability requirements
• Collaborating with infrastructure teams (SAP & Client ) on hardware provisioning and network setup
· Validate technical readiness for go-live on the S4
HANA Brown field migration.
• Support & collaborate with CG team in Mock cutovers and Production Go-Live.
* Collaborate in the optimization of Cutover plan, refining final cutover ready for production.
• Validate SAP S/4
HANA, HANA DB, and other SAP components (Fiori, Gateway, Web Dispatcher)
• Validate SSO setup
* Lead and collaborate in the completion of a Monitoring strategy using C-ALM, creation of SOPs, KPIs, thresholds and reporting as well as identify action items if thresholds are surpassed.
· Collaboration & Leadership
• Serve as the technical advisor to project management and business stakeholders for the remainder of the project & hypercare
• Collaborate closely with functional consultants, developers, and SAP ECS team
• Support change request management and transport controls during the project and hypercare.
· Cutover & Go-Live Support
• Discuss and validate cutover plans for Technical & Business downtime optimization
• Support hypercare activities, performance tuning, and issue triage
• Support the Handover complete system documentation and operations guide to BASIS AMS/support teams Additional:
• Work & Support with third-party tool integration (e.g., backup tools, monitoring solutions ex.)
• Participating in RISE with SAP readiness assessments
