We are looking for a highly process-oriented professional with strong experience in consultancy practices, discovery frameworks, and cost estimation to standardize and scale our pre-sales processes. This role will focus on designing and documenting structured discovery and estimation methodologies to improve consistency, accuracy, and execution rigor across cross-functional delivery teams.
The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in process engineering, RFP response management, and project cost estimation, with a proven ability to create clear, unambiguous documentation and procedural frameworks.
Key Responsibilities
1. Discovery Process Design & Documentation
Design and document a standardized and repeatable discovery framework (Intake → Scoping → Assumptions → Sizing → Estimation → Sign-off).
Develop templates, playbooks, checklists, responsibility matrices, and workflow documentation.
Define entry and exit criteria for each discovery phase.
Ensure assumptions, dependencies, constraints, and risks are explicitly captured and documented.
2. Process Engineering & Estimation Rigor
Partner with engineering and delivery teams to design procedural process flows and illustrative diagrams.
Establish estimation guardrails and benchmarking practices.
Develop and maintain RAID logs (Risks, Assumptions, Issues, Dependencies).
Drive improvement in documentation quality and process governance standards.
Support cost modelling and effort estimation across pre-sales initiatives.
3. Discovery Execution & Governance
Facilitate structured discovery workshops and working sessions.
Identify process gaps, ambiguities, and hidden risks proactively.
Ensure actionable outcomes from discovery engagements.
Create executive-level summaries and standardized documentation outputs.
4. Stakeholder Alignment
Work closely with business stakeholders, goal owners, and delivery teams.
Surface key risks and decision points early in the process lifecycle.
Drive alignment and consistency across teams and portfolios.
Ensure traceability from requirements through to proposal submission.
5. Tool Enablement
Integrate discovery and estimation workflows into existing tools and platforms.
Improve structured data capture for benchmarking and reporting.
Support scalable proposal development processes.
Required Skills & Experience
Strong experience in Process Engineering / Business Process Re-engineering .
Extensive hands-on experience in cost estimation and effort sizing .
Prior experience in RFP responses / pre-sales consulting engagements .
Proven experience in structured discovery, scoping, and solution estimation.
Strong documentation and procedural writing skills.
Experience working with cross-functional delivery teams in consulting environments.
Background in project management and consultancy practices is highly preferred.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience in process improvement frameworks and governance models.
Familiarity with responsibility matrices (RACI), stakeholder mapping, and procedural documentation.
Ability to create process flow diagrams and estimation models.
