Role Overview
We are looking for a Senior Data Engineer to design, develop, and optimize scalable data pipelines and analytics-ready data marts. The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience in dbt, Big Query, and cloud data warehousing, and will contribute to architectural decisions and best practices.

Key Responsibilities

· Develop and maintain dbt models across staging, intermediate, and mart layers.

· Design and optimize Big Query queries, partitioning, and clustering strategies.

· Work with ingestion tools such as Fivetran to ensure reliable data pipelines.

· Implement and maintain data quality checks and validation rules.

· Build curated datasets to support analytics and reporting teams.

· Participate in architecture reviews and contribute to modeling standards.

· Troubleshoot performance and data integrity issues.

· Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to translate business requirements into data solutions.

Required Qualifications

· 3–13 years of experience in data engineering.

· Strong SQL and Python programming skills.

· Hands-on experience with dbt.

· Strong knowledge of Big Query optimization and cost management.

· Solid understanding of data warehousing concepts and dimensional modeling.

· Experience working with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure); GCP preferred.

· Familiarity with CI/CD workflows and version control (Git-based development).

Nice to Have

· Experience working with Salesforce data.

· Exposure to data orchestration tools.

· Understanding of analytics use cases in revenue or product domains.
