Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly experienced SAP Supply Chain Planning (SCP) / SAP APO Functional Consultant with 10+ years of hands-on expertise in designing, implementing, and supporting advanced supply chain planning solutions. The role involves end-to-end ownership of planning processes including Demand Planning, Supply Network Planning, Production Planning, and Global ATP, ensuring optimized inventory, improved service levels, and efficient supply chain operations.
Key Responsibilities:
SAP APO / SAP SCP Functional Responsibilities
Lead full-cycle implementations and support projects in SAP APO / SAP IBP / SAP SCP environments.
Configure and support core APO modules:
Demand Planning (DP)
Supply Network Planning (SNP)
Production Planning & Detailed Scheduling (PP/DS)
Global Available-to-Promise (GATP)
Design and optimize forecasting models, planning books, macros, and alerts.
Configure CIF integration between SAP ECC/S4
HANA and APO.
Manage master data elements including product, location, PDS, transportation lanes, and quotas.
Lead S&OP process design and integration with planning systems.
Support deployment of heuristic and optimizer-based planning strategies.
Drive system enhancements and continuous improvement initiatives.
Business & Process Responsibilities:
Collaborate with Supply Chain, Manufacturing, Procurement, and Sales teams to gather business requirements.
Translate business needs into functional specifications and solution designs (FSD).
Conduct workshops, blueprinting sessions, and gap analysis.
Support data migration, system testing (SIT, UAT), and go-live activities.
Provide post-go-live hypercare and production support.
Monitor KPIs such as forecast accuracy, inventory turns, service level, and planning adherence.
Required Qualifications:
10+ years of SAP experience with strong focus on SAP APO / SAP SCP.
Minimum 2–3 end-to-end SAP APO/IBP implementation projects.
Strong configuration expertise in DP, SNP, PP/DS, and GATP.
Experience in CIF integration and master data management.
Good understanding of supply chain processes (Demand, Supply, Inventory, S&OP).
Experience working with global stakeholders and distributed teams.
Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Supply Chain, IT, or related field
