In this role, you will play a critical part in monitoring, managing, and securing enterprise networks, ensuring the integrity and availability of IT systems. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to detect and respond to security threats, troubleshoot network issues, and maintain firewall and certificate management solutions. The position involves proactive network monitoring, incident response, and the implementation of security improvements to support business continuity.

Accountabilities

Monitor networks and systems for intrusions, attacks, and unusual activity, using analytic tools to identify emerging threats
Manage access permissions, perform periodic audits, and conduct system restoration drills to ensure IT infrastructure integrity
Configure, manage, and optimize firewall policies to maintain security effectiveness
Identify, diagnose, and resolve network issues, implementing adjustments to security solutions as needed
Deploy and troubleshoot network traffic decryption and manage certificate management solutions
Collaborate with teams to configure and maintain network monitoring solutions using SPAN, SNMP, and other integrations
Implement improvements to network operations through structured change management processes
Execute daily tasks to support business continuity and maintain operational readiness

Requirements

Bachelor's or Master's degree in IT or related field
8-12 years of experience in Network Security and Security Operations Centers (SOC)
Strong expertise in configuring and troubleshooting routers, switches, firewalls, and wireless controllers, particularly Fortinet, Cisco, and Palo Alto

Experience with data analysis and threat detection
Basic knowledge of cloud security principles for AWS, Azure, and/or GCP is advantageous
Familiarity with Microsoft PKI and public CA provisioning solutions (e.g., Digi Cert) is a plus
Excellent problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and accuracy
Ability to work in shifts (11 am-8 pm / 2 pm-11 pm) and adapt to flexible schedules
