What You’ll Do
Test REST APIs and end-to-end business workflows using Playwright (API testing capabilities) along with Postman for validation and documentation when needed.
Design, write, maintain, and execute automated test cases using Playwright (JavaScript/Type Script), ensuring clear identification and reporting of defects.
Build and contribute to robust automation test suites covering UI, API, and integration scenarios.
Perform regression and smoke testing ahead of releases to ensure application stability and reliability.
Collaborate closely with developers and senior QA engineers to expand test coverage, improve automation frameworks, and uphold quality standards.
Must Have
Strong understanding of API testing fundamentals, including HTTP methods, status codes, headers, authentication mechanisms, and JSON payloads.
Hands-on experience with Playwright for automation testing, Postman for API validation, and writing effective assertions.
Basic experience in automation scripting using JavaScript (or any other programming language).
Excellent analytical skills with strong attention to detail and a problem-solving mindset.
Good to Have
Familiarity with fintech , payments , or Web3 technologies.
Experience with database queries (SQL) and understanding of CI/CD pipelines .
