Job Description (JD) – Sr. SAP APO (DP & SNP) Consultant

Role Overview
We are looking for  Senior SAP APO Consultants (DP & SNP)  on an  Immediate Basis  to support project-based custom development activities in SAP APO.
This is a  time-bound project assignment  with defined start and end dates, focused on delivering high-quality  custom developments in APO DP & SNP modules , along with strong integration across SAP landscape particularly BW & MDG.

Core Responsibilities
Execute  complex custom developments  in:
SAP APO – DP (Demand Planning)
SAP APO – SNP (Supply Network Planning)
End-to-end ownership of development lifecycle:
Requirement gathering from business stakeholders
Functional Specification (FS) preparation
System configuration and solution design
Coordination with ABAP technical team for development execution
Ensuring adherence to quality standards and best practices
Validation and deployment:
Drive  SIT (System Integration Testing)  and  UAT (User Acceptance Testing)
Ensure  defect-free production deployment (Right First-Time approach)
Provide  post-go-live support and resolution of production issues/defects
ABAP Debugging skill is desirable

Mandatory Skills & Expertise
1. APO Functional Expertise
Strong hands-on experience in:
APO-DP (Demand Planning)
APO-SNP (Supply Network Planning)
Deep understanding of sub-modules, planning processes, and configuration
2. Integration Expertise (Critical)
Strong integration experience with:
SAP BW
SAP MM (Materials Management)
SAP MDG (Master Data Governance)
3. Development & Delivery Capability
Proven track record of:
Delivering  complex custom developments in APO
Managing end-to-end implementation lifecycle
Leading functional design and guiding technical teams
4. Testing & Quality Assurance
Experience driving:
SIT & UAT cycles
Deployment readiness and quality validation
Production support and defect resolution

Domain Experience (Mandatory)
Strong  Supply Chain domain expertise
Experience working in:
Défense sector (highly preferred)
Retail / large-scale supply chain environments
Proven experience in:
Multiple  end-to-end SAP ECC 6.x + APO implementations
Complex, enterprise-scale transformation programs

Soft Skills & Expectations
Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills
Ability to work in a high-pressure, SLA-driven environment
Ownership-driven mindset with focus on delivery excellence

Important Note
This is a  mandatory onsite role based out of Delhi , requiring  full-time presence (5 days/week)  at the client location. Remote or hybrid options are  not available.
