We're hiring a Product Manager - Data Platform to own Cred Hive's proprietary B2B trade data network and the intelligence layer built on top of it. Think of this as building India's first contributed trade credit registry fused with company intelligence - where businesses report invoice and payment data, and the platform turns it into trade credit scores, buyer reliability signals, and supply-chain risk views that no public filing can provide.
This is a high-ownership, 0→1 role where you'll design the data contribution flywheel, ship the scoring and intelligence products, and build the network effects that make Cred Hive's data moat permanently defensible.
Key Responsibilities
Own the roadmap for the business intelligence data platform : contributed data ingestion, B2B trade credit scoring, supplier/buyer reliability profiles, and payment-behaviour analytics.
Design the data contribution flywheel: incentive architecture, value exchange mechanics, and cold-start sequencing to drive businesses to report trade receivables and payment data.
Build multi-channel ingestion paths — Tally plugin, Zoho/Quick Books integrations, bulk Excel/CSV upload, Whats App-based invoice submission — prioritised by coverage and data quality tradeoffs.
Design trust and privacy layers: anonymisation of reporting relationships, DPDP-compliant consent flows, buyer notification mechanics, and confidence scoring that reflects reporting density and data freshness.
Own network health metrics: reporting density per buyer, geographic and sector coverage, reciprocity rates, data freshness SLAs — and use them to prioritise where to invest in growth next.
Drive cross-functional execution across Product, DS, Eng, Design, and GTM — with a particular focus on coordinating the two-sided nature of the product (contributors and consumers).
Qualifications
Prior ownership of a B2B product.
Strong grounding (2–3+ years) in one or more of: trade credit, B2B lending, supply-chain finance, SME credit risk, or procurement intelligence.
Experience with Indian SME ecosystems — Tally/Vyapar/Khatabook landscape, trade-association dynamics, regional industry clusters, and the realities of how MSMEs manage receivables and payables.
Has built or scaled a product where user-contributed data is the core asset — reporting platforms, review networks, credit registries, or B2B marketplaces.
Familiarity with Indian credit signals (ROC filings, GST compliance, bureau inputs, bank statement proxies, alternate data) and how they complement trade payment data.
