About the Role
We are seeking a skilled Chinese Translator (Mandarin–English) to support our operations in the Li-Ion battery industry in India. The role involves real-time interpretation, document translation, and coordination between Chinese and Indian teams to ensure smooth technical and business communication.
Key Responsibilities
Provide oral interpretation (Mandarin ↔ English) during meetings, factory visits, training sessions, and technical discussions.
Translate technical documents, SOPs, manuals, contracts, and emails.
Assist Chinese technical experts and management teams in daily communication.
Support production, engineering, procurement, and quality teams with accurate translations.
Maintain confidentiality of technical and business information.
Requirements
Fluency in Mandarin Chinese and English (spoken and written).
Prior experience in manufacturing, engineering, or Li-Ion battery industry preferred.
Strong understanding of technical terminology.
Willingness to work on-site in India.
Good interpersonal and coordination skills.
Contract Details
Fixed-term contract: 1 year (extendable based on performance and project requirements).
