The Category Manager will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams such as procurement, finance, sales, and operations to align category strategies with business objectives. The role also includes preparing reports, presenting insights to stakeholders, and implementing continuous improvement initiatives within the assigned categories.
Qualifications
Strong category management capabilities, including experience in planning, strategy development, and lifecycle management for specific product or service categories.
Robust analytical skills to interpret data, assess category performance, forecast demand, and support evidence-based decision-making.
Experience in Fashion & Lifestyle is must
Proficiency in procurement and sourcing, including supplier evaluation, cost optimization, and coordination with internal stakeholders.
Proven experience in contract negotiation and vendor management, with the ability to secure favorable terms and maintain collaborative supplier relationships.
Sales and commercial acumen, with the ability to understand market dynamics, customer needs, and revenue implications of category decisions.
Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and presentation skills, with the ability to influence across functions and levels.
Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Comfort working with ERP or procurement systems and advanced proficiency in spreadsheet and reporting tools.
