Role Overview :  We are seeking an experienced  Welding Inspector  with a strong background in  Carbon Steel (CS) Pipe Fabrication and Manufacturing . The ideal candidate will hold a  CSWIP certification  and possess extensive knowledge of welding inspection standards, fabrication processes, and quality assurance in CS pipe manufacturing.

Key Responsibilities

Inspect and verify welding processes for CS pipe fabrication and manufacturing.
Ensure compliance with applicable codes, standards, and project specifications.
Conduct visual inspections and non-destructive testing (NDT) as required.
Review and approve welding procedures, welder qualifications, and material certifications.
Maintain detailed inspection reports and documentation for quality audits.
Coordinate with fabrication teams to resolve welding-related issues.
Monitor adherence to safety and quality standards throughout the fabrication process.

Required

Qualifications & Skills:

Certification: CSWIP (Compulsory)

Experience:

Minimum 10 years in CS pipe manufacturing and welding inspection.
Strong knowledge of welding techniques, fabrication standards, and quality control procedures.
Familiarity with international codes and standards (ASME, API, etc.).
Excellent attention to detail and ability to identify defects and non-conformities.
Good communication and reporting skills.

Preferred

Skills:

Experience with NDT methods (RT, UT, MT, PT).
Knowledge of welding consumables and metallurgy related to CS pipes.
