Merchandiser, Manufacturing ​/ Production

We are looking for experienced Merchandisers with product development expertise to be part of one of our growing business accounts.

Role Overview
We are seeking an experienced Product Development Merchandiser with 8-15yrs experience to handle end-to-end product development—from proto and costing to production coordination and vendor management. The role requires strong exposure to international buyers, multi-category product knowledge and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Product Development:  Manage proto, fit, lab dips, artwork, and SMS samples; review tech packs, prepare BOMs, and ensure smooth development handover; source fabrics and trims and coordinate supplier approvals.

Costing & Buyer Coordination :
Prepare pre-costing and final costing; manage pricing discussions, buyer approvals, and development updates; ensure clear communication across all sample stages and timelines.

Production & T&A :
Create and track T&A calendars; coordinate with production teams to meet quality and delivery timelines; monitor fabric and trims in-house status.

Vendor Management:  Coordinate with mills, trim suppliers, printers, embroidery units, and job-work vendors; ensure timely execution and approvals; support onboarding and evaluation of new vendors.

Documentation & Systems :
Maintain sample trackers, approval logs, and reports; use ERP/SAP/PLM systems for PO creation, RM tracking, and data management.

Required Skills
Strong knowledge of fabrics, trims, construction, yarns, and testing standards; hands-on experience in tech packs, BOMs, costing, and buyer communication; good understanding of T&A planning and production coordination; proficiency in Excel and ERP tools (SAP/CRM/PLM/MOVEX preferred); strong communication and problem-solving skills.
