The client is looking to hire a Panel Technician for their team at Al Khobar, Saudi Arabia.

Panel Technician

Job Summary:

Client is seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Panel Technician to join their manufacturing unit. The role involves assembling, wiring, testing, and troubleshooting electrical control panels as per drawings, specifications, and safety standards. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in electrical panel assembly and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.

Key Responsibilities:

- Assemble electrical control panels, switchboards, and distribution panels according to wiring diagrams and engineering drawings.
- Perform wiring, crimping, and termination of cables, wires, and components.
- Install electrical components such as circuit breakers, relays, contractors, meters, PLCs, and other control devices.
- Conduct quality checks and ensure compliance with company standards and client specifications.
- Assist in panel testing, troubleshooting, and rectifying wiring or component issues.
- Ensure adherence to electrical safety standards and best practices during panel assembly and wiring.
- Maintain tools, equipment, and workstations in a clean and organized manner.
- Collaborate with engineers, supervisors, and team members to meet project deadlines.
- Document work progress, modifications, and testing results.

Requirements:

- ITI / Diploma in Electrical / Electronics or equivalent qualification.
- Proven experience in electrical panel assembly and wiring (minimum 1–3 years preferred).
- Ability to read and interpret wiring diagrams, schematics, and technical drawings.
- Good knowledge of electrical components, tools, and wiring practices.
- Familiarity with industry safety standards and practices (e.g., IEC, IS standards).
- Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
- Attention to detail and ability to work with precision.
- Team player with good communication skills.

Preferred Skills (Optional):

- Experience with PLC/DCS panel wiring and automation systems.
- Knowledge of testing instruments (multimeter, continuity tester, megger, etc.).
- Basic knowledge of panel design software (an added advantage).
