About the Role RIR is seeking International Policy Researchers & Analysts to contribute high-quality research and analysis on international, regional, strategic, and security-related issues . This role is ideal for individuals with strong academic grounding, research experience, and an interest in producing policy-relevant outputs for an international audience.
We welcome applications from early-career to mid-level researchers , including those affiliated with academia, think tanks, media, or policy institutions.

Key Responsibilities Research & Analysis Conduct in-depth research on international, regional, political, strategic, and military affairs
Analyze foreign policy trends, security dynamics, and geopolitical developments , particularly relevant to Asia and global affairs
Apply strong analytical and critical thinking to interpret complex policy issues
Writing & Publications Produce well-structured research reports, policy briefs, and analytical articles
Ensure clarity, accuracy, and policy relevance in all written outputs
Collaborate with editors and senior researchers to meet publication standards
Collaboration & Monitoring Work with international researchers and analysts across regions
Stay updated on current international developments, security trends, and diplomatic processes
Contribute ideas for future research themes and projects
Qualifications & Skills Required Strong background in International Relations, Political Science, or related fields
Demonstrated experience in research and analytical writing (academic, policy, or journalistic)
Excellent written communication skills in English
Ability to work independently in a remote, research-driven environment
Preferred Master's degree or PhD in International Relations, Political Science, Security Studies, or Strategic Studies
Prior experience with think tanks, research institutes, or policy organizations
Familiarity with international security, geopolitics, or strategic affairs
Published articles, reports, or policy papers (a strong plus)
Compensation & Growth Salary Package
Trial Period (1 month): USD 800 – 1,500
Post-Trial Period: USD 1,500 – 5,000 (based on performance and output quality)
Growth: Salary increases with sustained collaboration and strong research contributions
