Associate Buyer

Role Overview

We are looking for an  Associate Buyer  who has a strong eye for product, understands emerging fashion trends, and can support the buying team in curating the right assortment. In this role, you will work closely with  design, merchandising, and vendor partners  to ensure the right products are sourced and delivered to meet customer demand.

Key Responsibilities
Collaborate with the  design team  on product selection, sampling, and sourcing.
Conduct  trend research and consumer analysis  to identify product opportunities.
Support the buying team in  assortment planning and product selection .
Coordinate with  vendors and suppliers  to track sampling and production timelines.
Monitor  product performance, sell-through, and repeat opportunities .
Assist in managing the  product lifecycle  from launch to repeat or exit decisions.
Track  costing and budgets  to ensure alignment with margin targets.
Maintain and analyze data using  Excel / Power BI  to support buying decisions.

Candidate Profile
1–3 years of experience  in buying, merchandising, or product roles within  fashion, accessories, or lifestyle .
Strong  product sensibility and understanding of fashion trends .
Experience working with  vendors and cross-functional teams .
Strong  analytical skills  with proficiency in  Excel ; exposure to  Power BI  is a plus.
Good communication and stakeholder management skills.

Education
Graduate / Postgraduate in  Fashion Management, Fashion Technology, or Business .
Candidates from  NIFT, NID, Pearl Academy , or similar institutes will be preferred.
