Government Sales (Leadership Role)

We are looking for an experienced Government Sales professional with 10+ years of proven experience in selling IT hardware, technology products, and solutions to Government departments and Public Sector organizations .
The ideal candidate should have strong knowledge of the government procurement ecosystem, including GeM, government tenders, e-procurement platforms, RFP/RFQ processes, and institutional sales . The candidate will be responsible for developing government business, managing key accounts, identifying opportunities, and driving revenue growth.
Role & Responsibility :
Responsible for identifying new business areas and developing analysis reports to aid in organization's decision making
Responsible for IT Sales (Software/Hardware) for Govt Clients.
Team Management as well as Individual Contributor Role.
To support and assist the organization in identifying and securing new Business opportunities
Client Meetings with closure & sales management.
Managing the clients in Govt. / PSU Sector.
Exposure of dealing with State/central government organizations.
Skilled in developing and implementing marketing plans and sales for new and existing products.
Knowledge of technical specification of the tender, contracts etc.
Involved in Pre bid meetings, preparation of documents, submission, follow-up and finalization of tender.
Responding to RFP/RFQ/RFI as per the customer needs and budgets
Strategize effectively to create new customers on a continuous basis
Proposing the appropriate solution after analyzing the client’s business requirement
Excellent public relationship management through communication and convincing pleasing personality
Business development activities include, managing the data, client co-ordination, presentation and account management
Handling complete sales cycle right from suspecting to Closure
Close deals and handle negotiations with the decision makers of prospects.
Strategize effectively to create new customers on a continuous basis
Proposing the appropriate solution after analyzing the client’s business requirement

MBA/M.Tech
BBA/BCA/B.E/B.Tech
or any other
