JOB PURPOSE & SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES
- Transport Executive attends shift cell.
- Keep practical and current knowledge of NCR areas to support smooth employee mobility.
- Maintain records for the reasons of cab delay and ensure timely reporting of cabs for pickup and drop of employees.
- Maintain records for the cab deduction from employee’s salary if employee fails to inform the transport department for cancellation of pickup and drop and cab moves.
- Manage on‑ground situations in case of a vehicle accident and maintain proper accident records.
- Coordinate and liaise with vendor for pick up and drop of employees.
- Transport Executive verifies the trip sheet/invoice of vendor and coordinates accordingly.
- Coordinate with HR Department in order to ensure the regularization of attendance, employee No-Shows /deduction transport team etc.
- Handle employees’ queries regarding the transport facility provided by the organization and reply via email when required
- Monitors the pickup and drop facility provided by vendor and ensures timely reporting.
- Vehicle Compliance checks and highlight vehicle discrepancy to the vendor for rectification.
- Drivers and escort Briefings during departure.
- Information and alternate arrangements on breakdown / incidents.
- Highlight routing issues to routing team if any.
- Coordinating with vendor supervisor & driver while tracking.
- Coordinating drop management.
- Any other work as assigned by Manager Transport or the reporting authority.
- Responsible and accountable for overall quality, safety and security of operations in the assigned area of work.
- Responsible for reporting to his supervisors’ occurrences, events, violations and acts that may affect safety, security and company reputation.
EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor’s Degree or, Equivalent.
Certification in computers especially MS Word, Excel and Internet would be an added advantage.
RELEVANT EXPERIENCE
Transport Executive should possess the following experiences:
- 6–24 months of relevant experience in any organization or travel agency.
- Excellent command over written and spoken English and Hindi.
PERSONAL CHARACTERISTICS & BEHAVIOURS
For a successful role as Transport Executive, he/she should have the following traits:
- Candidate should be willing to work in shifts.
- Good communicator and able to relate to all levels of staff.
- Positive attitude towards work.
- Ability to adopt to various computerized systems.
- Good knowledge of all the local routes to arrange transport.
