Senior Accountant

We are seeking a high-performing Senior Accountant to join a growing and dynamic company (hybrid in Delray Beach, FL) with a clearly defined path to Accounting Manager within 6–12 months
. This role is ideal for a hands-on accounting professional who excels in a fast-paced corporate environment and is eager to take on increasing leadership responsibilities.

The Senior Accountant will play a critical role in the monthly close, financial reporting, and process improvement initiatives while partnering closely with the CFO and senior leadership. As the role progresses, responsibilities will expand to include team oversight, review functions, and cross-functional collaboration.

• Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial close activities
• Record complex journal entries and perform account reconciliations
• Ensure accuracy and integrity of the general ledger in accordance with US GAAP
• Assist with preparation of financial statements and management reporting
• Support external audits, tax filings, and internal controls
• Analyze financial results and investigate variances

• Review work prepared by staff accountants
• Mentor and develop team members
• Manage portions of the close process independently
• Own key balance sheet and income statement areas
• Act as a point of contact for auditors and cross-functional stakeholders
• Contribute to hiring and team structuring decisions as the department scales

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance
• 3-5 years of progressive accounting experience
• Strong understanding of US GAAP and financial reporting
• Audit experience gained within a large CPA firm is strongly preferred
