Business Analyst

Overview

• Derive key data, insights, and baseline information to inform actions for the business’ ultimate success
• Set up the foundation of a project by interviewing stakeholders and departments to determine processes, involved teams, and next steps
• Document inputs, actions, outcomes, and define acceptance criteria for projects and processes
• Act as a communication liaison between teams, departments, and stakeholders to ensure processes and inputs align with desired outputs
• Plan and implement actions that meet end goals and develop project roadmaps
• Test and measure implemented solutions, develop training materials, and capture feedback for recordkeeping
• Design and develop Power BI reports to provide insights for decision-making
• Develop and maintain complex financial models to analyze performance, forecast trends, and support decision-making
• Ensure data accuracy and integrity in financial models and analyses
• Perform other duties as assigned by the Manager, Business Analytics

• Bachelor’s degree in Business or a related field preferred
• Minimum 2–3 years of business analyst experience
• Minimum 1 year of project management experience
• Experience in data modeling, process mapping, and specification documentation
• Experience developing, implementing, and maintaining system processes and procedures
• Proficient in MS Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Power BI, and Visio (or equivalent)
• Experience developing, reviewing, and maintaining complex financial models using tools such as Excel or Python
• Experience facilitating workshops and discussion sessions
• Experience creating business cases for technology-related solutions
• Experience delivering projects on time, on budget, and to specification
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills with ability to analyze multiple data sources
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Strategic thinker with the ability to work independently and as part of a team
