About the Position
We are seeking an experienced Senior Estimator to join the team at the company’s Boynton Beach, FL office. This is a critical in-office role, ideal for a collaborative, detail-oriented professional who thrives in a team environment and is passionate about delivering accurate and competitive estimates.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage the full estimating process for a variety of project types.
- Collaborate with preconstruction, project management, and executive teams to develop detailed cost proposals.
- Analyze drawings, specifications, and other documentation to prepare comprehensive estimates.
- Evaluate subcontractor and supplier bids for accuracy and competitiveness.
- Support project pursuits and participate in bid presentations.
Requirements
- 5+ years of estimating experience in the commercial construction industry.
- Proven expertise in one or more of the following sectors: multifamily, healthcare, education, hospitality, or government.
- Strong understanding of construction means and methods, pricing, and scheduling.
- Proficiency with estimating software (e.g., On-Screen Takeoff, Sage Estimating, or similar).
- Excellent communication, organizational, and leadership skills.
- Must be located within a commutable distance to Boynton Beach, FL, or willing to relocate.
