Estimator, Construction, Building & Residential Construction

Analyze project costs, manage bids, and prepare accurate construction estimates for commercial projects.

We are seeking a detail-oriented Estimator to join our team and support our growing portfolio of hotel and commercial construction projects. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing accurate cost estimates, managing the bidding process, and ensuring competitive pricing while maintaining project profitability.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Send project plans out for bids to subcontractors and vendors
• Evaluate and compare trade pricing, ensuring accuracy and competitiveness
• Prepare and manage client budgets and proposals for construction projects
• Draft and manage subcontractor contracts and agreements
• Facilitate smooth project hand-offs between estimating, project teams, and other stakeholders
• Utilize construction-based software to manage project estimates, documentation, and communication
• Maintain organization of project documents and ensure all deadlines are met
• Communicate effectively with clients, subcontractors, and internal teams to ensure project milestones are achieved

The ideal candidate should possess:

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in construction administration, estimation, or coordination
• Strong knowledge of reading and interpreting construction plans and blueprints
• Proficiency in construction management software (e.g., Procore, Bluebeam, etc.)
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
• Ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritize in a fast-paced work environment
• Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with internal and external teams
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook)

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience in hotel construction or similar commercial projects is a plus
• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management or a related field
