As we continue to grow, we’re seeking a Sales & Design Consultant (SDC) — a design‑forward professional who brings creativity, sophistication, and precision to every client interaction. This isn’t a typical sales role. It’s ideal for someone with a designer’s eye and a consultative approach, who thrives on understanding clients’ visions, creating elegant outdoor concepts, and guiding high‑net‑worth homeowners through an exceptional design experience.

The SDC will manage the entire pre‑sale process — from site visits and concept development to client presentations and contract execution — serving as both designer and trusted advisor. Responsibilities Will Include Client Discovery & Visioning
  • Conduct on‑site consultations and discovery calls to understand each client’s goals, aesthetic preferences, and functional needs.
  • Take precise site measurements, review surveys, and translate spatial details into conceptual design ideas.
  • Educate and coach clients on design best practices, materials, and layout solutions that align with SYZYGY’s luxury aesthetic.
  • Build trust and connection with high‑net‑worth clients through professionalism, listening, and design expertise.
Design Development & Concept Creation
  • Develop conceptual design directions using sketches, markups, or CAD‑based layouts (basic drafting or visualization skills are a plus).
  • Collaborate closely with internal design and engineering teams to refine renderings, layouts, and pricing packages.
  • Ensure every design proposal reflects SYZYGY’s standard of innovation, craftsmanship, and elegance.
  • Act as the creative liaison between client vision and technical feasibility.
Client Presentation & Sales Experience
  • Present design concepts, renderings, and proposals with confidence and clarity — in person and virtually.
  • Guide clients through the decision‑making process with empathy, professionalism, and precision.
  • Manage revisions and approvals while maintaining project momentum and client excitement.
  • Represent the SYZYGY brand with poise and luxury service standards at every interaction.
Project Coordination & Handoff
  • Maintain organized client records, notes, and design documents within the CRM.
  • Partner with the Sales Coordinator to ensure all files, approvals, and details are ready for handoff to the project team.
  • Attend pass‑off meetings to clearly communicate design intent, client preferences, and project expectations.
What We’re Looking For
  • Design‑Driven Professional: A background in luxury design, outdoor architecture, or boutique residential projects.
  • Client‑Facing Confidence:
    Comfortable communicating and presenting to affluent clientele with grace and professionalism.
  • Creative with Structure:
    Able to blend design inspiration with disciplined process, documentation, and follow‑through.
  • Technically Fluent:
    Proficient in digital tools for communication and organization (experience with CRMs, cloud‑based systems, or design software preferred).
  • CAD or Sketch Experience (Bonus):
    Ability to create or mark up simple conceptual layouts is highly desirable.
  • Collaborative & Accountable:
    Works seamlessly with internal designers, engineers, and project managers to deliver polished results.

    Understands the expectations of high‑end clients and delivers with class, punctuality, and precision.
