MRI Tech Per Diem Rotate

Position Summary

Performs diagnostic MRI examinations, following radiologist protocols, for evaluation and treatment by attending physicians. Provides radiologist with pertinent clinical information. Demonstrates complete working knowledge of MRI scanner and related equipment. Performs routine protocols and positions patients correctly using appropriate coils. Participates in quality, process and performance improvement initiatives as requested. Performs timely documentation in radiology computer systems. Meets departmental performance expectations and Customer Service Standards of Excellence.

• Graduate of accredited program in radiologic technology.
• Associate's Degree preferred.
• 2 years experience in MRI preferred.
• ARRT registered and certified in MRI within 1 year of hire.
• Florida license.
• American Heart Association BLS certification.
