• Perform routine technical and clerical functions, including specimen registration and billing
• Manage specimen receipt and distribution of laboratory specimens
• Perform phlebotomy duties as assigned
• Oversee Front Office functions and ensure appropriate response to all phlebotomy requests during assigned shift
• Assist in organization and storage of all laboratory phlebotomy and office consumables
• Perform and fulfill all HICS responsibilities as directed during emergencies/disasters

Required:

High School Diploma or Equivalent

Preferred:
Completion of Phlebotomy Program

Required:

6 months of clinical experience.

Preferred:
Above plus basic laboratory computer/laboratory information system experience.

Minimum:
Not required

Preferred:
Medical Assistant or Phlebotomy Certification or National Phlebotomy Certification

• Computer knowledge/experience
• Excellent customer service skills
