The Assistant Nurse Manager directs and supervises nursing care functions and activities in the Emergency Department for the purpose of ensuring the competent delivery of quality patient care. They implement, educate, and ensure compliance with policies, procedures, standards, and regulations for personnel, patients, medical staff, and the public. The Assistant Nurse Manager’s primary role is to take charge of nursing personnel, however, they may take patient assignments whenever business or operational needs dictate, in order to deliver high quality patient care.

Up to $15,000 sign‑on bonus based on experience.

• Minimum:
  Education recognized by the State of Florida as qualification for Registered Nurse licensure.
• Preferred: BSN

Minimum two years as a staff nurse, previous charge nurse experience preferred.

• Registered Nurse – licensed in the State of Florida.
• American Heart Association BLS Certification
• ACLS, PALS, TNCC, CPI
• CEN preferred, but not required.

• Basic Computer Skills
• ENPC strongly encouraged.
