Position SummaryThe Assistant Nurse Manager directs and supervises nursing care functions and activities in the Emergency Department to ensure competent delivery of quality patient care. He or she implements, educates and ensures compliance with policies, procedures, standards and regulations for personnel, patients, medical staff, and the public. The Assistant Nurse Manager’s primary role is to take charge of nursing personnel, but may also take patient assignments when business or operational needs require it.

Up to $15,000 SOB for qualified candidates, paid over 24 months.
Education- Minimum:
Education recognized by the State of Florida as qualification for Registered Nurse licensure. - Preferred: BSN
- Minimum two years as a staff nurse, previous charge nurse experience preferred.
- Registered Nurse – licensed in the State of Florida
- American Heart Association BLS Certification
- ACLS, PALS, TNCC, CPI
- CEN preferred, but not required
- Basic Computer Skills
- ENPC strongly encouraged
