Position SummaryThe RN provides high-quality, safe, cost-effective, total nursing care to all patients. The RN assumes responsibility for overall coordination of the patient's experience and integration of patient care based on the nursing process. The RN directs high quality and patient‑focused care according to established standards of safety, risk management, QI, and Infection Control, with the goal of discharging the patient with an optimum level of care provided.

Responsibilities- Assumes responsibility for coordination and planning of patient care within the prescribed medical regime.
- Administers all medications safely and in a timely manner per hospital policy.
- Utilizes appropriate interpersonal skills as outlined in the Standards of Conduct and in accordance with customer service initiatives.
- Successfully completes department‑specific competency requirements and maintains a current license.

Qualifications Education- Minimum:
Education recognized by the State of Florida as qualification for Registered Nurse licensure. - Preferred: BSN.

- Registered Nurse – licensed in the State of Florida.
- American Heart Association BLS certification.
- For telemetry and higher acuity units: ACLS (AHA) and basic EKG interpretation are also required.
