Global Placement Firm is recruiting a Director of Nursing - Emergency Services for a hospital leadership opportunity in Florida.
This role oversees the administrative and clinical operations of assigned Patient Care Services, ensuring quality, cost-effective care and regulatory compliance. The Director also leads the emergency management program to maintain disaster readiness and support safe, coordinated responses.
What You'll Do- Lead the planning, organization, development, and delivery of patient care services.
- Develop unit and service line programs, policies, and procedures that address patient needs.
- Implement and oversee unit-based patient care plans.
- Ensure clinical operations comply with hospital policies, Florida licensing requirements, The Joint Commission standards, and other applicable regulations.
- Create a professional environment that supports nursing staff, collaboration, and quality care.
- Develop strategies to grow patient volume and strengthen service delivery.
- Maintain an ongoing improvement program for Patient Care Services and Emergency Management.
- Oversee emergency preparedness and disaster readiness activities.
- Bachelor's degree in nursing/BSN
. - At least two years of healthcare management experience
. - At least two years of Emergency Room experience
. - An active Registered Nurse license in the State of Florida
. - Strong clinical leadership, organizational, and communication skills.
An advanced degree in a healthcare-related field is preferred.
Required Certifications- American Heart Association BLS/CPR
- American Heart Association ACLS and PALS
- CPI within 30 days of hire
- NIH Stroke certification within 60 days of hire
- TNCC within 180 days of hire
- Compensation dependent on experience (DOE)
