Lawn and Ornamental Technician

Overview

Job Summary:

We are seeking a knowledgeable and motivated Lawn & Ornamental Technician to join our team at Home & Garden Pest Control, Inc.—a family-owned company proudly serving South Florida for over 25 years.

• Apply pesticides, fungicides, and fertilizers to lawns, shrubs, trees, and ornamental plants in accordance with label directions and company standards.
• Inspect properties to identify pest, disease, and nutrient-related issues affecting plant health.
• Communicate effectively with customers, providing professional, friendly, and responsive service.
• Maintain organized routes and schedules in coordination with management.
• Operate company vehicles safely; ability to pull a trailer is preferred.
• Complete accurate service records and maintain proper chemical use documentation.

• Experience diagnosing plant health issues and identifying insects common to South Florida landscapes.
• Ability to safely drive with a trailer.
• Strong attention to detail and time management.
• High school diploma or equivalent (required).
• Valid driver’s license (required).

• Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM to 4:00 PM
• Occasional weekend overtime opportunities
