Rapoport’s Restaurant Group, Inc. is now hiring qualified Bartenders for Burt & Max’s Bar and Grille located in the Delray Marketplace in Delray Beach, FL.

Apply in Person from 2-4pm (Monday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday) at 9089 West Atlantic BL, Delray Beach, FL 33446 (Delray Market Place).

• Pass Responsible Service of Alcohol Test with a score of 90% or better.
• Welcome each guest personally within 30 seconds.
• Communicate with guests using clear and enthusiastic words, tone and body language at all times.
• Maintain cleanliness and stock in all areas to restaurant standards.
• Mix, garnish and serve alcoholic and non‑alcoholic drinks for bar and dining room patrons following standard recipes.
• Ring drink orders into computer immediately, collect money from guests for drinks served and make change.
• Arrange bottles and glasses to maintain an attractive display in agreement with restaurant standards.
• Wash and sterilize stemware.
• Be attentive and offer assistance before guests have to ask.
• Count drinks served to guests and place current bar tabs in front of guests at all times.
• Anticipate guest needs, follow the half‑full rule when offering another drink, and acknowledge guest signals.
• Learn guests’ names, occupations and favorite drinks.
• Provide responsible service of alcohol, including offering a taxi if a guest should not drive.
• Other duties as directed.

• Legal age to serve liquor according to state law.
• Basic mathematical, reading and computer skills; ability to handle money and give correct change.
• Basic knowledge of beer, wine, and spirits; familiarity with standard drink recipes.
• The ability to multi‑task, excellent communication and organizational skills.
• Knowledge of restaurant food & beverage specifications and workplace safety procedures.
• State‑applicable health and/or alcohol compliance card.
• Physical ability to walk, stand, reach, bend, lift, carry, stoop, wipe and remain stationary for extended periods; lift up to 35 lbs.

Bartenders work mostly on their feet, under pressure, with irregular hours including weekends and nights. Requires frequent walking, standing, reaching, lifting and bending; ability to handle money and maintain clear communication.
